Eduardo Tubig Mutuc
also known as 'Tatang Eddie', is a renowned Filipino metalsmith and sculptor from Apalit, Pampanga. Mutuc was born on October 12, 1949. He grew up with nine siblings and parents who were farmers. He was only able to finish his elementary education thus, helping his parents in farming afterwards. He continued to work as a farmer in his adulthood.
Today, he is known to be a practitioner of the craft of "pinukpuk" or "silver plating", which involves the stamping of embellishments on metal sheets. Mutuc creates works of both secular and religious nature using silver, wood, and bronze medium. This includes retablos, mirrors, altars, and carosas.

Began his artistic career late at the age of 29 as a woodcarver seeking an additional source of income to supplement his farming.

He learned woodcarving under Carlos Quiros while working for an antique shop owned by his relatives.

In his 6th year, he learned silver plating from a colleague and left the furniture shop and started to be an independent craftsman.
